Background

I was born in Madrid in 1966, but my parents moved to the little nice town of Girona when I was only four years old. I studied Computer Science in the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, obtaining the degree in 1989. Since then, I've been teaching Artificial Intelligence, Declarative Programming and Theoretical Computer Science at the Departament d'Informàtica i Matemàtica Aplicada of the University of Girona. I'm currently trying to finish a thesis on trust aspects in multiagent societies..

• Trust and confidence aspects of agent modelling in multiagent environments using fuzzy systems.
• Problem solving (heuristic search, planning, distributed problem solving).
• Complexity analisis of 3d scenes using Information Theory tools.
• Applications of prolog to the modelling of 3d scenes.

• Fractals and dynamical dystems. Fractal art
• Bridge (and board and card games in general). (Know the  Catalunya's national card game: La Butifarra)
• Recreative mathemathics
• Long walks in the inlands and the seaside of Girona   (Know more about Girona territory  here ).
